Turkish Air Chief Hails Pakistan Air Force’s Professional Capabilities, and Operational Readiness

A high-level delegation, led by Commander of the Turkish Air Force General Ziya Cemal Kadioglu, arrived in Pakistan on an official visit today, underscoring the deep-rooted strategic ties between the two nations. The visiting dignitary called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), at Air Headquarters, where both leaders engaged in a comprehensive dialogue aimed at strengthening military cooperation.

Upon his arrival, General Kadioglu was received with a warm and cordial welcome, and a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Air Force presented a Guard of Honour. The meeting that followed featured in-depth discussions on the evolving regional security environment, advancements in ongoing defense collaboration, and the promising prospects of joint engagement in the new domains of modern warfare.

During the meeting, General Kadioglu commended the PAF’s “outstanding operational performance” during the recent conflict with India, crediting the “visionary leadership” of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu. He lauded the force’s state of operational readiness and its “resolute defence of national sovereignty.”

General Kadioglu expressed a keen interest in gaining comprehensive insight into the PAF’s methodology of multi-domain warfare, acknowledging the force’s tested operational strategies and success in the conflict. The Turkish Air Force leadership conveyed an earnest desire to study the operational lessons derived from the military standoff between Pakistan and India, with the aim of further strengthening their own doctrine and enhancing overall preparedness.
