Minimum 16 Years of formal education (Bachelor of Engineering) in above mentioned disciplines from HEC/PEC recognized institutes of Pakistan/Abroad.

Minimum cumulative GPA (CGPA) 2.5 out of 4.0 or minimum 62.5% marks for annual system

No 3rd division or Grade 'D' (not less than 50% marks) and only one 2nd Division or Grade 'C' (less than 60% marks) throughout the academic career i.e FSc/Equivalent and Matric/ 'O' Levels.

The applicant must have completed 4 x years Engineering Degree in above mentioned disciplines irrespective of Master of Science / Master Computer Science.

Candidates only graduated from HEC/PEC recognized universities or foreign universities recognized by PEC.

Candidates possessing Master of Science/ Master Computer Science Degree and 2-3 years work experience will be given preference.

A Candidate with specific higher qualification is eligible, even if he is twice rejected by Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) for Pakistan Military Academy / Graduate Course or equivalent Pakistan Navy / Pakistan Air Force Courses.

Candidate once rejected for Pakistan Military Academy/ Equivalent Courses and once rejected in Post Graduate Entry can avail one more chance for Post Graduate Courses only.

Appearing candidates can also apply on "Hope Certificate" duly issued by Head of University/ Institution. However, such candidates must submit their final degree/ transcript by 10 September 2025 , otherwise they will not be considered in final merit.

1. Twice rejected by Inter Services Selection Board for Post Graduate Entry.
2. Twice rejected by Inter Services Selection Board for Intermediate/Graduate (Pakistan Military Academy/ Graduate/Equivalent) and once rejected by Inter Services Selection Board or General Headquarters/ Naval Headquarters/ Air Headquarters based Selection Boards.
3. Once rejected by Inter Services Selection Board for Intermediate/ Graduate (Pakistan Military Academy/ Graduate/ Equivalent) and twice rejected by Inter Services Selection Board or General Headquarters/ Naval Headquarters/ Air Headquarters based Selection Boards.

A candidate with specific higher qualification, who is rejected once by ISSB for Pakistan Military Academy Long / Gradudate Course or Equivalent Pakistan Navy/ Pakistan Air Force Courses and once rejected for specific higher qualification entry, will not be eligible for 3rd chance.

Candidates tested within 1 x year validity period (validity of ISSB/ General Headquarters/ Naval Headquarters/ Air Headquarters Selection Boards stands for 1 x year).

Tested within 4 x months (120 days) gap of previous appearance (for not recommended candidates).

Convicted in a Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude or any heinous offence (to be ascertained by the competent military authority).

Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C (cannot request for AMB).

Candidates declared with Positive Drug Test from CMHs/ Military Hospitals/ AFIP will be considered as Permanent UNFIT for joining Training Institutions/ Pakistan Military Academy.

Tempering of academic certificates/ forgery/ concealment to get undue advantage will render an applicant permanently ineligible for all types of commission in Armed Forces.

Permanently declared Unfit by Appeal Medical Board (AMB).

However, Pakistan Air Force candidates who become medically unfit for flying but fit for ground branches, can undergo routine medical examination as normal candidates, if they are desirous to join Pakistan Army.

Withdrawn from any Academy/ Training Institution of Armed Forces on any ground.

Withdrawn from any Bonded Armed Forces Colleges/ Institutions on disciplinary grounds.

Dismissed/ removed/ debarred from Government Service including Armed Forces.

1. ISSB selection system assesses natural officer potential.
2. Coaching on ISSB Tests adversely affects the chances of selection and results in many contradictions in personality traits.
3. In case it is found that a candidate trained in any private coaching center, he will be considered Ineligible to apply for all types of commissions
