UAE Naval Commander Meets Pakistan’s Air Chief at Air Headquarters

Rawalpindi | September 8, 2025 – Commander of the United Arab Emirates Naval Forces, Major General Humaid Mohammed Abdullah Alremeithi, called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), at Air Headquarters in Islamabad.

The high-level meeting centered on regional security dynamics and explored new avenues for defence collaboration, particularly in joint training and operational cooperation.

Air Chief Marshal Sidhu shared his vision to transform the Pakistan Air Force into a modern, technology-driven force by advancing capabilities in cyber, space, artificial intelligence, electronic warfare, and aerospace domains. He also underlined the historic and religious ties between Pakistan and the UAE, reaffirming PAF’s commitment to strengthening bilateral military relations through training programs and joint exercises.

The visiting UAE Naval Commander expressed appreciation for PAF’s indigenization efforts and technological progress, noting its combat-proven doctrine and operational preparedness. He emphasized UAE’s keen interest in joint training and exercises with Pakistan, calling such initiatives vital to deepening military-to-military bonds and enhancing regional interoperability.

The exchange highlighted both nations’ shared resolve to address common challenges and expand defence cooperation across multiple domains.

This meeting further consolidates the brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE, with particular emphasis on building practical defence partnerships for long-term regional stability.
