Security forces of Pakistan successfully conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in the Sherani District of Balochistan on 01 October 2025, targeting the reported presence of militants actively involved in anti-state activities.
The IBO was executed based on concrete intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists belonging to the proscribed group, identified as Fitna al Khwarij, an organization known to operate as an Indian proxy against Pakistan.
During the intense conduct of the operation, own forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. Following a heavy and sustained fire exchange, seven Indian-sponsored terrorists were successfully neutralized.
Security forces recovered a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the terrorists’ possession. These individuals remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities, targeting innocent civilians and security personnel across the area.
A thorough sanitization operation is currently being conducted to eliminate any residual terrorist elements found in the area. The security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country and reaffirm the nation’s unwavering resolve to bring the perpetrators of terrorism to justice.
