Security Forces Decimate Terrorist Cell of Indian Sponsored Terrorists (FAH) in Khuzdar

Pakistan’s Security Forces have achieved a major operational success by neutralizing a significant cell of the proscribed terrorist group Fitna al-Hindustan during an intensive Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in the mountainous Zehri area of Khuzdar district, Balochistan. The action resulted in the killing of 14 terrorists and the capture of substantial arms and equipment, reinforcing the state’s resolve against foreign-sponsored terrorism aimed at destabilizing the region.

Details of the Successful IBO

The operation was launched in the early hours of Saturday, following credible intelligence reports confirming the presence of militants linked to Fitna al-Hindustan—a designation used by the state to highlight the alleged involvement of India in terrorist activities and the wider destabilization efforts across Pakistan.

The security forces successfully cordoned off the targeted area of Zehri tehsil. A prolonged and heavy exchange of fire ensued, lasting for several hours. During the fierce gun battle, 14 terrorists were eliminated, and approximately 20 others are reported to have been injured. The forces seized a large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and sophisticated communication equipment from the terrorists’ hideouts, which were subsequently destroyed. This successful operation follows the recent killing of seven other India-sponsored terrorists in the Sherani district, underscoring the consistent pressure being applied to militant networks.

Public Endorsement and Elimination of Threat

The security forces’ decisive action has been met with widespread praise from the local residents of Zehri, who confirmed that the militants had long been engaged in harassing, blackmailing, and disturbing the peace of the community. The operation is a direct measure to restore peace and order, allowing the local population to return to normalcy free from intimidation.

The security establishment reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to continuing these targeted operations until all remaining militants of Fitna al-Hindustan and associated proxy groups are entirely eliminated from Balochistan.

Investigation Update on Quetta Terror Attack

In a separate but related development, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan Police has registered a First Information Report (FIR) and launched a comprehensive investigation into the recent car suicide attack on the headquarters of Frontier Corps (North) in Quetta. That attack, which tragically claimed 10 lives including four security personnel, saw security forces successfully foil the attackers’ attempt to breach the headquarters, killing all five terrorists on the spot.

CTD officials, utilizing advanced techniques including NADRA’s fingerprint records, have successfully identified two of the terrorists killed at the FC headquarters: Sharifullah, from the Mazai Adha area of Qila Abdullah district, and another individual from Chagai district whose identity is pending full confirmation. Investigations are actively underway, with family members being questioned and forensic evidence sent to the Punjab Forensic Laboratory for detailed analysis.

The security forces remain on high alert, and while investigations continue, efforts are focused on restoring normalcy and ensuring the security of damaged public and private infrastructure near the site of the Quetta attack.
