The Pakistan Army’s Team has once again demonstrated its exceptional professionalism and prowess by winning the coveted Gold Medal at Exercise Cambrian Patrol – 2025, held in Wales, United Kingdom, from 03-13 October 2025.
This year marked the 66th iteration of Exercise Cambrian Patrol, a competition globally recognized for its demanding professional standards and rigorous challenge. The competition required patrols from across the globe to move tactically across inhospitable terrain, covering a strenuous distance of 60 kilometers within 48 hours, while successfully completing various specialist tasks in a contested and complex operational environment.
Out of 137 teams participating from 36 countries worldwide, the Pakistan Army contingent, led by Captain Muhammad Saad, exhibited exceptional performance, superior navigation skills, physical endurance, and professional competence in all phases of the exercise, leading to the award of the highest honor, the Gold Medal.
This victory is a moment of immense national pride, reaffirming the global standing of the Pakistan Army, which is renowned for its highest standards of training and combat readiness. The Armed Forces of Pakistan have consistently held the country’s flag high on the international stage and remain committed to upholding this tradition of excellence in all future endeavors.
