Security Forces of Pakistan conducted a series of highly successful counter-terrorism operations across the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province from 13 to 15 October 2025, resulting in the neutralization of thirty-four Khwarij belonging to the Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij.
Multiple Engagements Yield Decisive Results
Based on reported presence and credible intelligence, multiple Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) and encounters were executed by the Security Forces, targeting foreign-sponsored terrorist elements:
- North Waziristan: An IBO was conducted in the general area Spinwam, North Waziristan District. During the intense fire exchange, own troops effectively engaged the terrorist location, successfully eliminating eighteen Khwarij.
- South Waziristan: Following another intelligence tip-off, an IBO was launched in South Waziristan District, where eight additional Khwarij were neutralized in the ensuing exchange of fire.
- Bannu District: In a third significant encounter that took place in Bannu District, own troops successfully neutralized eight more Khwarij.
Commitment to Azm e Istehkam
Sanitization operations are currently being conducted to eliminate any remaining foreign-sponsored Kharji elements found in the areas of operation.
The relentless Counter Terrorism campaign, operating under the strategic vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan), will continue at full pace by the Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
