Nazmul Hasan, Chief of the Naval Staff, Bangladesh Navy, held high-level talks today at the Naval Headquarters in Dhaka, reaffirming their shared resolve to strengthen bilateral naval cooperation and promote lasting peace and stability across the Indian Ocean Region.
During the meeting, both leaders discussed expanding collaboration in maritime security, professional training, joint exercises, port visits, and technical exchanges. They emphasized the importance of collective efforts to address common challenges, including maritime piracy, illegal fishing, trafficking, and disaster response operations.
