Pakistan Army Rifle Association Central Meet Concludes with Pak Army Dominance

The 45th Pakistan Army Rifle Association (PARA) Central Meet 2025 culminated in a grand closing ceremony at the Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU), graced by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), as Chief Guest.

Spanning October 1 to November 10, the championship drew over 2,000 elite marksmen from the Pakistan Army, Air Force, Navy, Civil Armed Forces, and provincial rifle associations of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and the Federal Rifle Association. Competitors showcased unparalleled precision, discipline, and competitive spirit across multiple disciplines.

  • Pakistan Army swept the 3rd Inter Services Combat Shooting Championship 2025, clinching all four Inter Services titles.
  • Punjab Regiment secured the prestigious Unit Firing Proficiency Match (Group-I).
  • Sepoy Muhammad Irfan (Punjab Regiment) earned the coveted Master at Arms title.
  • Naib Subedar Umar Farooq (AMU) claimed the Army Hundred Rifle Match Trophy.

Addressing participants, the COAS lauded their exceptional marksmanship and reaffirmed: “Mastery in shooting must remain a core objective of military training.

Military College Jhelum Centenary Celebrations Later, the COAS attended the historic centenary of Military College Jhelum (MCJ) as Chief Guest. He inaugurated the Centenary Monument and College Museum, immortalizing a century of excellence in leadership, discipline, and patriotism. The COAS paid rich tributes to Alamgirians’ unmatched contributions to Pakistan and its Armed Forces, laying a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.

Upon arrival, the COAS was received by Commander Rawalpindi Corps and Inspector General Training & Evaluation (IGT&E).
