During the meeting, the CJCSC highly appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s operational preparedness and combat readiness, while commending its unwavering commitment and steadfast resolve to safeguard the nation’s maritime frontiers. He lauded the professional excellence and dedication of Pakistan Navy in ensuring maritime security and regional stability.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf expressed his gratitude to the outgoing CJCSC for his pivotal role in strengthening jointness and cohesion among the three Services, highlighting his significant contributions towards enhancing inter-services cooperation and operational synergy.
Earlier, upon his arrival at NHQ, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was presented a guard of honour by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Navy, reflecting the service’s deep respect and appreciation for his leadership and distinguished tenure.
The visit underscored the spirit of mutual respect, professionalism and continued commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s defence institutions through coordination and unity.
