Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on December 15, 2025, in the general area of Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan District, following reports of the presence of Khwarij terrorists associated with the Indian proxy group, Fitna al Khwarij.
During the swift and decisive operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. Following an intense fire exchange, seven Khwarij were neutralized.
However, during the engagement, a brave son of the soil, Naik Yasir Khan (age: 34 years, resident of District Mardan), having fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat (martyrdom). The nation pays tribute to the valor and unwavering dedication of Naik Yasir Khan.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area. The presence of these foreign-sponsored elements reaffirms the external orchestration behind the menace of terrorism targeting the stability of Pakistan.
A comprehensive sanitization operation is currently underway to eliminate any remaining foreign-sponsored Kharji found in the area.
This operation is a testament to the relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam” (as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan). The Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue their efforts at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
