Mianwali — Pakistan Navy bid a solemn farewell to Shaheed Muhammad Shahzaib MGT-I with full military honours in his native village of Isa Khel, District Mianwali, as the nation mourned a brave son who gave his life defending the Pasni Marine Base from a cowardly terrorist assault.
The young sailor stood firm at the entry gate when militants from Fitna al Hindustan (commonly known as the banned Baloch Liberation Army/BLA) — widely seen as proxies backed by hostile elements — launched their attack. Facing eight armed terrorists, Shahzaib held his ground alone, delaying the intruders long enough for the Quick Reaction Force (QRF) and fellow Pakistan Marines to arrive and repel the assault.

In the fierce exchange, he neutralized two BLA militants, including a suicide bomber intent on causing maximum carnage. His valiant stand saved lives and protected the base, but he embraced shahadat in the line of duty.
The namaz-e-janaza drew officers, sailors, civil and military officials, and grieving family members, all united in paying tribute to his exceptional courage and unwavering devotion. Pakistan Navy expressed profound gratitude for his supreme sacrifice, extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family while praying for the highest place in Jannah for the shaheed.
This act of heroism comes amid ongoing efforts to safeguard Pakistan’s coastal frontiers against foreign-sponsored terrorism. Shaheed Shahzaib’s sacrifice reminds every citizen of the unyielding resolve of our armed forces — men who stand guard so the nation sleeps in peace. May Allah grant him eternal reward and strengthen Pakistan against all threats.
