In a major blow to foreign-sponsored terrorism, Pakistan’s Security Forces successfully eliminated twenty-four (24) terrorists belonging to the Indian-proxy “Fitna Al Khwarij” during two separate high-intensity engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province on 4-5 February 2026.

Operation Details: Orakzai and Khyber Districts
The operations were launched based on verified intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the region:
- Orakzai District: Security forces conducted a precision intelligence-based operation (IBO). Following an intense exchange of fire, troops effectively engaged the terrorist hideout, resulting in the elimination of fourteen (14) khwarij.
- Khyber District: A second coordinated IBO was executed in the Khyber District. During the ensuing fire exchange, an additional ten (10) terrorists were neutralized by the responding units.
Azm-e-Istehkam: A Relentless Campaign
These operations are part of the broader, relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision, which was recently approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
The Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) of Pakistan remain committed to the full-scale eradication of the menace of foreign-supported terrorism. Currently, sanitization operations are underway in the targeted areas to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining terrorists.
