15 Indian-Sponsored Terrorists “Sent to Hell” in Harnai and Basima, Balochistan IBOs

Pakistan’s security forces have delivered a crushing blow to foreign-sponsored terrorism, neutralizing 15 high-value targets in two precision Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) across Balochistan. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed on Saturday that the deceased belonged to the state-designated terror groups Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP) and Fitna al-Hindustan (Indian-backed insurgent factions in Balochistan).

Precision Strikes: Harnai and Basima Operations

The military’s media wing detailed a high-intensity engagement that shattered the operational capacity of these foreign proxies:

  • Harnai District (12 Neutralized): Acting on “pinpoint” intelligence regarding a fortified hideout, troops effectively engaged members of the Fitna al-Khawarij. After a fierce battle, 12 Indian-sponsored terrorists were eliminated.

  • Basima District (3 Neutralized): In a separate maneuver, military forces tracked a cell of Fitna al-Hindustan. Utilizing “mixed-calibre weapons,” security forces successfully sent three more Indian-sponsored terrorists “to hell.”

  • Recoveries & Sanitization: A significant cache of weapons, advanced explosives, and ammunition was recovered from the sites. Forces are currently conducting sanitization operations to ensure no remnants of these foreign-backed cells remain in the area.

The Vision of ‘Azm-i-Istehkam’

The ISPR emphasized that these operations are part of an accelerated counter-terrorism campaign under the Azm-i-Istehkam (Resolve for Stability) vision.

  • Defining the Threat: The state has categorized the banned TTP as Fitna al-Khawarij, while designating Balochistan-based terror organizations as Fitna al-Hindustan, highlighting their documented links to Indian patronage and regional destabilization efforts.

  • Sustained Momentum: This victory follows a high-intensity month where over 43 terrorists were neutralized across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, including a suicide bomber and several facilitators in the Domel tehsil of Bannu.

National Resolve

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have lauded the professional excellence of the security forces. The President remarked that the elimination of terrorists operating under Indian patronage remains the state’s “top priority,” while the Prime Minister reaffirmed the nation’s unwavering commitment to completely eradicate the menace of foreign-sponsored militancy.

“The relentless campaign by Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism.” — ISPR Statement
