Security forces eliminated 5 terrorists and wounded several others in an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan. According to state media, the IBO was carried out in the Killi Soran area of Panjgur District, Balochistan.

The operation was conducted based on intelligence information. The terrorists were subsequently targeted using advanced technology. The terrorists were traveling on motorcycles with the intention to carry out a major terrorist attack.
Sophisticated weapons, ammunition, three vehicles, two motorcycles, and an improvised explosive device (IED) were also recovered from the terrorists during the operations. A flag of a banned organization was also seized from the terrorists.
The terrorists eliminated in this particular IBO were involved in different incidents of robbery, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, target killing, and persecuting residents. The neutralized terrorists, as mentioned earlier, intended to conduct a major attack along with suicide attacks in different parts of Pakistan.
Effective and prompt response from the Security Forces prevented the nefarious designs of the terrorists from materializing. The determination and spirit of the security forces remain high, and they will not settle until the last terrorist is eliminated from the soil of Pakistan.
