RAWALPINDI — Security forces neutralized two terrorists during an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) conducted in the Palantak area of Balochistan’s Washuk district. The operation was executed under the framework of Operation Radul Fitna against state-designated terrorist elements.
State broadcaster PTV reported that the eliminated operatives were actively involved in major insurgent attacks targeting public and state infrastructure, including the Mashkhel police station and the regional Customs House.

Operational Action & Recovery: Security forces engaged the militants in the Palantak area. The terrorists’ vehicle was destroyed during the operation, and a large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from the site.
Targeted Outfits: The action targets groups designated under Fitna al Hindustan, highlighting efforts against foreign-sponsored terrorism and regional destabilization.
Sustained Campaign: The IBO follows last week’s counter-terrorism engagements in which 11 terrorists were eliminated during separate operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
