Bajaur Operation
- On credible reports of Khawarij presence, own troops conducted an IBO in Bajaur District.
- After an intense exchange of fire, 22 Indian-sponsored Khawarij were sent to hell.
South Waziristan Encounter
- In another fierce clash in South Waziristan District, 13 more Khawarij were neutralized.
- During the operation, 12 brave sons of soil embraced Shahadat, fighting gallantly till the end.
Recoveries & Involvement
- Weapons and ammunition recovered from the terrorists.
- Intelligence confirms direct involvement of Afghan nationals in these heinous acts.
- Continued use of Afghan soil by Fitna al Khawarij remains a grave concern. Pakistan expects the Interim Afghan Government to fulfill its responsibility and prevent use of its soil against Pakistan.
Ongoing Actions
Sanitization operations are in progress to clear remaining threats. Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute in eliminating Indian-sponsored terrorism, and the supreme sacrifices of our martyrs further strengthen national resolve.
