COAS Attends Joint Passing Out Parade at PMA Kakul [152nd PMA LC | 71st IC | 26th LCC | 37th TGC]

A magnificent Passing Out Parade (POP) for the 152nd PMA Long Course, 71st Integrated Course, 26th Lady Cadet Course, and 37th Technical Graduate Course was held today at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, marking the successful culmination of their rigorous training. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), graced the esteemed occasion as the chief guest.

The event featured the graduating cadets, who are now commissioned as officers. Reflecting Pakistan’s strong defence ties, cadets from several friendly countries also graduated, including those from Iraq, Palestine, Qatar, Mali, Nepal, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Bangladesh, and Nigeria.

The Chief of Army Staff reviewed the impressive parade and distributed awards to the distinguished cadets for their outstanding performance during the training period.

Distinguished Award Recipients

  • The coveted Sword of Honour was awarded to Academy Senior Under Officer Ahmed Mujtaba Arif Raja of the 152nd PMA Long Course.
  • The President’s Gold Medal went to Battalion Senior Under Officer Zohair Hussain of the 152nd PMA Long Course.
  • The Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee Overseas Gold Medal was presented to Friendly Country Company Junior Under Officer Tekraj of the 152nd PMA Long Course.
  • Gentleman Cadet Syed Hashir Hassan of the 152nd PMA Long Course received the Chief of Army Staff Marksman Medal.
  • The Chief of Army Staff Cane was awarded to Course Under Officer Shaheer Ali of the 37th Technical Graduate Course.
  • Course Sports Sergeant Most Jannatul Mawa of the 26th Lady Cadet Course received the Commandant’s Overseas Medal.
  • Commandant’s Canes were awarded to Course Under Officer Sayed Abdul Hadi of the 71st Integrated Course and Course Under Officer Hadia Fayyaz of the 26th Lady Cadet Course.

The successful completion of training by these courses underscores PMA Kakul’s role as a premier institution dedicated to developing officers of the highest professional and ethical calibre, both nationally and for friendly allied nations.
