COAS FM Asim Munir to NSW-27: Marka-i-Haq Raised Pakistan’s Global Stature

Rawalpindi – November 26, 2025 – Participants of the prestigious National Security Workshop-27 (NSW-27) visited General Headquarters today and received in-depth briefings on Pakistan’s evolving security challenges, the ISPR said.
In an interactive session, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir told the delegation that Pakistan faces a “fluid regional environment shaped by heightened geopolitical competition, cross-border terrorism, and hybrid threats”.
“Despite complex challenges, including externally supported militancy and information-centric warfare, Pakistan’s Armed Forces, intelligence agencies, and law-enforcement institutions continue to demonstrate unwavering professionalism and resolve,” the COAS emphasised.

He proudly noted that the “professionalism, resolve and commitment” displayed during Marka-i-Haq “has enhanced the global stature of Pakistan”, adding: “Pakistan is a country of consequence and is destined to reach its rightful place in the comity of nations.”Stressing unity as the ultimate strength, he declared: “Together, we shall defeat the nefarious designs of our foes, Insha’Allah.”

The participants were also updated on nationwide operations against smuggling, narcotics, organised crime, strengthened border management, and repatriation of illegal foreigners.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated that “territorial integrity, security and protection of every Pakistani citizen is paramount… and will not be compromised under any circumstances”.The NSW-27, organised by the National Defence University, includes parliamentarians, senior civil-military officers, and civil society representatives.
