Operation in North Waziristan District

Following credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists, Security Forces launched a robust Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in North Waziristan District. During the operation, Pakistani troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location. After an intense exchange of fire, six (06) terrorists were killed.

Joint Operation in Kurram District

In a second engagement, a joint Intelligence-Based Operation was conducted by Security Forces and the KP Police in Kurram District. In the ensuing fire exchange, five (05) Khwarij were successfully neutralized.

Recovery and Profile

A significant cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the deceased terrorists. The neutralized Khwarij were confirmed to be Indian proxies, actively involved in numerous high-profile terrorist activities, including attacks against Security Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), and the targeted killing of innocent civilians.

Commitment to “Azm-e-Istehkam”

Sanitization operations are currently underway to eliminate any remaining remnants of these foreign-sponsored elements in the area.

The Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan remain committed to the relentless Counter-Terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. The state will continue to operate at full pace to completely wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the motherland.
