Countering “Fitna al Hindustan”
During the interactive session, Senator Kakar delivered a stinging critique of the misleading narratives and fake propaganda propagated by “Fitna al Hindustan.” He exposed the systematic efforts of hostile foreign actors to distort the reality of the province and mislead the youth regarding the state’s role in Balochistan’s development.
The Senator emphasized that a coordinated propaganda machinery is actively working to create a sense of deprivation, despite the tangible progress being made on the ground.
Highlighting Educational and Healthcare Progress
Senator Kakar presented a data-driven comparison of Balochistan’s past and present, highlighting the massive expansion of public infrastructure. Key takeaways from his address included:
- Educational Revolution: Unlike the previous decades, Balochistan now hosts thousands of operational schools and colleges.
- Higher Education: The province has seen a surge in tertiary education, with dozens of universities now providing modern degrees to the local youth.
- Healthcare Access: A robust network of hospitals and medical facilities is now functional across the province, providing essential services that were previously unavailable.
Empowering the Youth
The Senator urged the interns to become “ambassadors of truth” and to utilize digital platforms to counter anti-state narratives with facts. He stressed that the youth must understand the nexus between external propaganda and internal stability to better protect Pakistan’s national interests.
The ISPR Winter Internship Program continues to serve as a vital platform for the country’s youth to engage with national leaders and security experts, fostering a deeper understanding of the complexities governing the state’s defense and development strategies.
