Pakistan Navy Seizes Narcotics Valued at $972 Million in Major Counter-Narcotics Operation under CTF-150

Pakistan Navy Ship, “YARMOOK” operating in coordiantion with Saudi-led Combined Task Force 150, CTF-150, of the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) executed a major anti-narcotics operation in the North of Arabian Sea; wherein, narcotics valued around 972 Million USD were seized.

The successful execution of this operation highlighted Pakistan Navy’s pristine operational capabilities, and commitment to regional maritime security, global peace. This operation also brought to attention the role of Pakistan Navy in the collective fight to counter trafficking at sea.

Pakistan Navy, operating in coordination with multinational CTF-150, focuses on:

  • Ensuring maritime stability
  • Deterring terrorism and illegal activities across

The successful operation by PNS YARMOOK reaffirms Pakistan’s role as a responsible maritime partner and stakeholder, contributing to peace and security in the wider Indian Ocean Region.

The Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, commended the crew of PNS YARMOOK for their professionalism, dedications, and demonstration of exceptional operational and working capabilities.

The Naval Chief further emphasized the role of Pakistan Navy in the broader mission of, safeguarding national maritime interests, while simultanesouly contributing to the mutual global objectives through cooperation, and coordinated maritime security efforts.

Lastly, the Naval Chief the iterated that PNS YARMOOK in collaboration with Saudi led task force will continue to, only further enhance interoperability between the two navies, and strengthen defence collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
