Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) SAIF arrived at the Port of Malé as part of its ongoing overseas deployment and was accorded a warm welcome by Maldivian authorities upon docking.

During the visit, the Mission Commander held productive meetings with senior military leadership of the Maldives and paid a courtesy call at the High Commission of Pakistan. Discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, enhanced naval engagements, and strengthened cooperation in maritime security.

PNS SAIF opened its decks to distinguished visitors, including government officials, ambassadors from various countries, and members of the diplomatic community, showcasing the ship’s capabilities and fostering goodwill.

Following the port call, PNS SAIF conducted a successful Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with Maldives National Defence Force Coast Guard vessels, demonstrating seamless coordination and operational interoperability.

Such regular port calls by Pakistan Navy ships underscore the deep-rooted bilateral relations between Pakistan and the Maldives and contribute significantly to enhancing mutual trust and maritime collaboration between the two navies.
