In a robust and coordinated response to the recent wave of cowardly terrorist attacks, Pakistan’s Security Forces have successfully neutralized at least 145 terrorists belonging to the “Fitna al-Hindustan” (the proscribed BLA) during a province-wide manhunt in Balochistan.
The intensive operations were launched following a series of synchronized gun and bomb attacks that resulted in the tragic martyrdom of 17 security personnel and 31 civilians, including five women. The terrorists targeted multiple locations, including Quetta, Gwadar, Mastung, and Noshki, attempting to strike at Frontier Corps headquarters and critical infrastructure.

Government & Provincial Response
Chief Minister Balochistan, Sarfraz Bugti, confirmed that the swift response by troops and police prevented the terrorists from reaching Quetta’s city center. He further emphasized that the BLA is operating from sanctuaries within Afghan territory with the backing of hostile foreign agencies to destabilize Pakistan’s economic progress.
In the interest of public safety, the provincial government has implemented temporary security restrictions, including a ban on public gatherings and the use of face coverings that impede identification in public spaces.
Commitment to Stability
The Armed Forces of Pakistan, supported by the resilient people of Balochistan, remain committed to the total elimination of terrorism. The state will continue to safeguard its citizens and natural resources against any group seeking to undermine the sovereignty of Pakistan.
