Rawalpindi – September 15, 2025 – Security forces conducted two separate and successful intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, neutralizing a total of 31 terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored proxy group, Fitna al Khwarij. The operations, which took place from September 13-14, underscore the unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s security forces to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country.
On September 13, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Lakki Marwat District on the reported presence of terrorists. During the intense fire exchange, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after a fierce gunfight, 14 Indian-sponsored terrorists were eliminated.
In a separate, but synchronized, intelligence-based operation in the Bannu District, security forces successfully neutralized an additional 17 terrorists. The precise and effective engagement by the troops led to the elimination of these individuals, who were found to be actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the region.
Sanitization operations are currently being conducted in both areas to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists. The security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, and such successful operations further strengthen their resolve to bring the perpetrators of violence to justice.
