In a significant blow to foreign-sponsored terrorism, the Security Forces of Pakistan conducted two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan on 29 January 2026, eliminating forty-one (41) terrorists belonging to Indian-sponsored proxies, Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan.

Harnai District Operation
Based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of Fitna al Khwarij, an IBO was launched on the outskirts of Harnai District. During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorist hideout. Following an intense exchange of fire, thirty (30) terrorists were neutralized. A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the site and subsequently destroyed.
Panjgur District Operation
In a second operation conducted in Panjgur District, security forces successfully busted a hideout belonging to Fitna al Hindustan. During the engagement, eleven (11) terrorists were killed. In addition to arms and ammunition, security forces recovered a significant amount of cash—identified as the money looted during a bank robbery in Panjgur on 15 December 2025. These terrorists had been wanted for numerous high-profile terrorist activities in the region.
Commitment to Azm-e-Istehkam
Sanitization operations are currently underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining remnants of foreign-sponsored elements in the area.
These operations are part of the relentless Counter-Terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. The Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan remain steadfast in their resolve to wipe out the menace of terrorism and defeat the designs of hostile foreign agencies seeking to destabilize the country.
