On 12 January 2026, Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Kalat District, Balochistan, following reports regarding the presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy group, “Fitna al Hindustan.”

During the conduct of the operation, our forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. After an intense exchange of fire, four Indian-sponsored terrorists were successfully neutralized.

A significant cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the deceased terrorists. Initial investigations confirm that these individuals remained actively involved in numerous high-profile terrorist activities and targeted attacks in the region.

A sanitization operation is currently being conducted to ensure the elimination of any other Indian-sponsored terrorists remaining in the area.

The Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan remain committed to the relentless Counter-Terrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision, as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. This campaign will continue at full pace to completely wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
