Gallantry in the Holy Month
Sepoy Karamat Shah displayed exceptional vigilance and professional excellence during the intense fire exchange that resulted in the elimination of five Khwarij terrorists.
-
Vigilance: He was among the first to identify the movement of the suicide vehicle, providing critical cover fire that allowed the operation to proceed.
-
Martyrdom: Sepoy Karamat was present in the lead vehicle when it was targeted by the suicide bomber. He rendered the ultimate sacrifice alongside his Commanding Officer, ensuring the sanctity of the Pakistani soil even during the holy month of Ramadan.
Retribution Against Fitna al Khwarij
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has condemned the continued use of Afghan soil by Khwarij proxies, noting that such acts during Ramadan prove these terrorists have no link with Islam. Sepoy Karamat’s sacrifice has further strengthened the resolve of the Law Enforcement Agencies to continue operations without restraint. Sanitization efforts are currently underway to eliminate any remaining perpetrators in the area.
