The high-level meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, with a significant emphasis on enhancing Pak–Turkiye cooperation in the energy sector and exploring further avenues for strategic collaboration. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and deepening their partnership in areas of shared objectives and regional stability.
The COAS, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, highlighted the deep-rooted, historic, and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkiye. He conveyed Pakistan’s appreciation for Turkiye’s steadfast support at various international forums.
Minister Bayraktar, leading a delegation focused on energy and mineral deals, expressed Turkiye’s desire to deepen cooperation across the entire energy domain. He acknowledged Pakistan’s continuing efforts toward regional peace, stability, and sustainable development.
