Courage Diaries:
Major Adnan Aslam was on his way home for vacation when he stopped in Bannu and volunteered to participate in a clearance operation against terrorists. In the intense exchange of fire, he displayed exceptional bravery by shielding his comrades and saving lives under direct attack. It was during this act of selfless courage that he sustained critical injuries, later embracing shahadat after days of medical struggle.
Laid to rest with full military honors near his hometown in Rawalpindi after funeral prayers at Chaklala Garrison.
