Pakistan, Russia Conduct Joint Counter-Terrorism Exercise Druzhba-VIII

Pakistan and Russia are conducting the Joint Military Exercise Druzhba-VIII from September 15 to 27, 2025, focusing on counter-terrorism operations.

The exercise, featuring troops from both armies, aims to enhance interoperability through training in drone warfare, countering improvised explosive devices, and combat in built-up areas. The Vice Chief of General Staff attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest from Pakistan, while senior Russian military officials were also present.

Both sides demonstrated high standards of professionalism, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening military-to-military ties and advancing joint operational capabilities in counter-terrorism.
