The Security Forces of Pakistan successfully executed a high-value Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) on the night of 26/27 September 2025 in the Lakki Marwat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The operation targeted the reported presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian Proxy group, Fitna al Khwarij.
The coordinated IBO was launched based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of elements actively involved in destabilizing the region. During the swift and decisive conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location, eliminating seventeen Indian-sponsored terrorists.

Elimination of High-Value Targets
The terrorists neutralized during the operation were confirmed to have been actively involved in numerous heinous terrorist activities. Their targets included attacks against the Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), as well as the indiscriminate killing of innocent civilians in the area.
Following the successful engagement, Security Forces recovered a significant cache of weapons and ammunition from the killed khwarij, preventing their further use in acts of terror against the state and its citizens. The seizure of these arms further underscores the intent of the Indian-backed elements to sow chaos and instability in Pakistan.

A thorough sanitization operation is currently being conducted in the area to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored kharji elements found to be operating in the vicinity.
