Pakistan’s security forces have conducted a series of successful, high-impact intelligence-based operations (IBOs) across Balochistan, neutralizing multiple terrorists and thwarting attempts by hostile elements to destabilize the region. These actions underscore the unwavering determination of the armed forces to ensure national security and regional stability.
IBO in Khuzdar Thwarts Escape Attempt
In a precise IBO conducted on October 1, 2025, in the Khuzdar district, security forces successfully apprehended four terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group, Fitna al-Hindustan. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the militants were attempting to flee the area and were captured while disguised in women’s attire.
A significant cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the apprehended individuals, who are confirmed to have been involved in numerous terrorist activities targeting security personnel and civilians in the area. A comprehensive sanitization operation is currently underway to eliminate any remaining threats.

Elimination of Terrorist Leadership and Cadres
The successful operation in Khuzdar follows a vigorous campaign of counter-terrorism actions across Balochistan. Just one day earlier, on September 30, 2025, security forces conducted three separate IBOs in the Quetta, Zhob, and Sherani districts, resulting in the elimination of 18 Indian-sponsored terrorists.
- Quetta: Ten militants were successfully neutralized in the Gaza Band area on the outskirts of Quetta.
- Zhob and Sherani: Eight more terrorists were killed during joint operations in these districts.
A large cache of arms and ammunition was also seized during these raids, preventing their use in future acts of terror.
These efforts come shortly after a foiled attack on September 29, 2025, in Quetta, where five terrorists, including a suicide bomber, were killed. The attackers, who were disguised in Frontier Corps (FC) uniforms, attempted an assault near Jinnah Road. Two FC personnel sustained injuries during the engagement. Authorities have firmly attributed this attack to the Indian proxy network, Fitna al-Hindustan.
On 30 September and 01 October 2025, thirteen terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan, were killed in two separate operations in Balochistan.
