PAF Deploys Cutting-Edge JF-17 Thunder Block-III to Azerbaijan for Exercise Indus Shield Alpha

A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) contingent, featuring advanced JF-17 Thunder Block-III fighter jets and specialized air and ground crew, has successfully deployed to Azerbaijan to participate in the bilateral aerial combat exercise, Indus Shield Alpha.

In a remarkable demonstration of operational prowess and endurance, the PAF fighters accomplished a non-stop flight from their home base in Pakistan to Azerbaijan. This mission included executing flawless in-flight air-to-air refuelling operations, which were conducted with utmost precision by PAF’s own IL-78 aerial tanker.
