Pakistan’s security forces eliminated 27 terrorists belonging to the banned Fitna Al-Khwarij (TTP) — described by the military as an Indian-sponsored proxy — in a series of successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province between 17–19 November, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced Wednesday.

Breakdown of Engagements

17–18 November

Four Khwarij killed in separate operations

  • 1 in Bajaur District
  • 2 in North Waziristan (Spinwam and Zakir Khel areas)
  • 1 in Dera Ismail Khan District

19 November – Kurram District

23 Khwarij eliminated in two consecutive high-intensity engagements

  • 12 terrorists neutralized in the first targeted operation
  • 11 more killed in a follow-up IBO in the same general area

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the killed terrorists, who were actively involved in multiple attacks on security forces and civilians.

Sanitization operations continue in all affected areas to eliminate any remaining threats.

The ISPR reiterated that these actions are part of the relentless national Counter Terrorism campaign under Vision Azm-e-Istehkam, as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain fully committed to eradicating the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.
