COAS & CDF Meets Indonesian President, Pledges Enhanced Defence Collaboration

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), called on the President of the Republic of Indonesia, His Excellency Prabowo Subianto, today in Islamabad. The high-level engagement focused on strengthening the strategic relationship between the two brotherly nations.

During the meeting, the dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest, the regional security environment, and avenues for deepening bilateral defence cooperation. Both sides reaffirmed their mutual resolve to further solidify the existing, strong ties between the armed forces of Pakistan and Indonesia.

His Excellency Prabowo Subianto appreciated the professionalism and preparedness of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged Pakistan’s significant and continued role in promoting regional peace and stability.

The COAS & CDF reiterated that Pakistan highly values its longstanding relations with Indonesia.
