On December 19, 2025, security forces successfully repelled a heinous and cowardly terrorist attack by Khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij (FAK), targeting a security forces camp in the general area of Boya, North Waziristan District.
The attackers attempted to breach the camp’s perimeter security. Due to the vigilant and resolute response of the troops on duty, the initial attempt was foiled. In a desperate act of barbarism, the terrorists rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the outer perimeter wall. The resulting blast caused the collapse of the wall and significant damage to adjacent civilian infrastructure, including a local mosque and residential homes.
The blatant act of terrorism resulted in severe injuries to fifteen local civilians, including innocent women and children. Medical teams provided immediate assistance to the victims of this indiscriminate violence.
Displaying unwavering courage and professional excellence, the security forces engaged the intruders with precision. In the ensuing firefight, all four Khwarij were sent to hell.
During the intense exchange of fire, four brave sons of the soil fought gallantly and embraced Shahadat (martyrdom):
- Havildar Muhammad Waqas (42, resident of District Kotli)
- Naik Khanwaiz (38, resident of District Mansehra)
- Sepoy Sufyan Haider (25, resident of District Vehari)
- Sepoy Riffat (32, resident of District Leyyah)
Investigations confirm this hideous act was planned and orchestrated by Afghanistan-based Khwarij. This incident stands in stark contrast to assertions made by the Afghan Taliban Regime regarding the non-presence of terrorist groups on their soil.
Pakistan expects the Afghan Interim Government to fulfill its international obligations and deny the use of its soil by Khwarij against Pakistan. The safety and security of the people of Pakistan remain the top priority. Pakistan reserves the right to hunt down these Khwarij and eliminate their facilitators and affiliates to ensure the protection of its citizens.
