The opening ceremony of the 13th edition of the Pakistan–United States bilateral joint exercise, “Inspired Gambit–2026,” was held today at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Pabbi.
The two-week-long exercise is focused on the Counter Terrorism (CT) domain and features the participation of professional contingents from the Armies of both Pakistan and the United States. High-ranking officials from both sides attended the opening ceremony to mark the beginning of the collaborative training.

Objectives and Scope
Exercise Inspired Gambit–2026 is designed to enhance mutual understanding and interoperability between the two forces. Key objectives include:
- Tactical Refinement: Sharing of extensive counter-terrorism experiences to refine tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Urban Warfare: Specialized training and emphasis on advanced marksmanship skills within urban environments.
- Doctrinal Synergy: Understanding respective operational doctrines and the exchange of global best practices.
