Field Marshal Asim Munir Conferred with Saudi Arabia’s Highest National Honor During Official Visit to the Kingdom

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) & Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of Pakistan, was honored with the King Abdulaziz Medal of Excellent Class during an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The medal, the Kingdom’s highest national honor, was conferred by Royal Decree of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The conferment took place during a formal meeting with His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia. The two leaders engaged in comprehensive discussions covering:
