This meeting builds on recent high-level exchanges, including Admiral Ashraf’s November visit to Dhaka where he met Bangladesh’s Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman and Navy Chief Admiral M. Nazmul Hassan, and Lt Gen Hassan’s January delegation to Pakistan that advanced joint training protocols.
Both sides reaffirmed commitment to enhanced military-to-military ties, including potential joint ventures in maritime domain awareness and capacity building. The visit is expected to culminate in a memorandum of understanding on naval collaboration, further strengthening defence relations between the two brotherly nations.
Pakistan and Bangladesh continue to prioritize peace and prosperity in South Asia through dialogue and cooperation.
