During the meeting, FM Abdelatty and COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir reviewed the full spectrum of ties, with particular emphasis on defence and security cooperation, military-to-military contacts, joint training exercises, and promoting regional peace and stability amid evolving dynamics.
The discussions reaffirmed both nations’ unwavering commitment to enhanced coordination and deeper collaboration in defence and broader strategic domains, including counter-terrorism, intelligence sharing, and capacity-building initiatives.
FM Abdelatty conveyed warm greetings from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, expressing Cairo’s keen interest in expanding multifaceted cooperation with Islamabad across political, economic, security, and cultural spheres.

COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir extended reciprocal greetings from Pakistan’s leadership and underscored the historic fraternal bonds rooted in shared faith, mutual respect, and common aspirations for regional prosperity.
