Marking the sacred occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, visited forward locations in Kurram to stand in solidarity with the officers and soldiers guarding Pakistan’s borders.

During the visit, the Field Marshal offered Eid prayers, praying for the enduring stability and prosperity of the nation, while issuing a stern warning to hostile elements operating from sanctuaries across the border.

Commending Valor: Successes of Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq

Interacting with the troops, the Field Marshal lauded the “exemplary professionalism” and high morale of the personnel deployed in the rugged border terrain.

  • Dismantling Networks: He specifically praised the achievements of Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, which has been instrumental in dismantling terrorist networks and restoring peace to the border regions.

  • Sacrifice and Success: The Field Marshal attributed these operational successes to the “supreme sacrifices” of the nation’s martyrs and the unwavering resolve of the soldiers dedicated to national security.

Strategic Warning: No Sanctuaries for Terror

Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to territorial integrity, Field Marshal Munir addressed the persistent threat of cross-border militancy.

  • Afghan Soil: He reiterated that terrorists operating from sanctuaries in Afghanistan will not be allowed to undermine Pakistan’s security.

  • Zero Tolerance: The Field Marshal emphasized that Afghan soil must not be used by hostile elements for activities against Pakistan, calling for regional stability through the denial of safe havens.

The visit served as a powerful reminder of the Armed Forces’ role as the primary shield of the country during national holidays.
