Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Jordan Armed Forces Calls on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at GHQ

His Excellency Major General Yousef Ahmed A. Al Huneiti, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) of the Jordan Armed Forces, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Commander of Defence Forces (CDF), at General Headquarters (GHQ) today.

The high-level meeting focused on a comprehensive review of matters of mutual interest, including the prevailing regional security dynamics and the exploration of new avenues for enhanced bilateral defence and military cooperation.

During the interaction, Major General Al Huneiti expressed high regard for the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces. He particularly lauded their significant contributions toward maintaining regional peace and stability, acknowledging Pakistan’s role as a cornerstone of security in the region.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to strengthening its historic defence ties with Jordan. He emphasized that in the face of evolving global and regional security challenges, collaborative efforts and shared expertise between the two militaries remain of paramount importance.

The visit concluded with both leaders expressing a shared resolve to further deepen military-to-military cooperation and strategic engagement between the two brotherly countries.
