Chief of Defence Forces Reaffirms Zero-Tolerance Policy Against Threats to National Security

The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Asim Munir, during a visit to the Lahore Garrison today, underscored the military’s unwavering commitment to national stability and a zero-tolerance approach toward any threats to Pakistan’s security.

Operational Preparedness, and Innovation

Upon his arrival, the CDF was received by the Corps Commander Lahore. He was subsequently provided with a comprehensive briefing on the formation’s operational readiness, training protocols, and strategic initiatives aimed at maximizing combat efficiency.

The Field Marshal witnessed specialized field training exercises that integrated cutting-edge technologies. He emphasized that the Army’s focus remains on innovation and rapid adaptability to meet the challenges of the increasingly dynamic and digital future battlefield.

During the visit, the CDF inspected various sports and recreational facilities, highlighting the critical role of physical fitness and high morale in maintaining the force’s overall well-being.

He also visited the care center at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore. He lauded the medical staff and administration for their dedication in establishing a state-of-the-art healthcare facility equipped to provide world-class medical services to personnel and their families.
