Operational Readiness and Innovation
Upon his arrival, the COAS & CDF was received by Commander Lahore Corps and given a comprehensive briefing on the formation’s operational preparedness and training standards. The COAS witnessed a specialized field training exercise that integrated the latest technologies. He underscored the Army’s commitment to innovation and adaptability, emphasizing the need to evolve alongside the dynamic requirements of the modern battlefield.
Troop Welfare and Healthcare
Recognizing the human element of military service, the COAS inspected sports and recreational facilities, highlighting their role in maintaining the high morale and physical fitness of the troops.
He also visited a newly established High Care Center at CMH Lahore. Lauding the medical staff and administration, he commended the establishment of the state-of-the-art healthcare facility, noting that the well-being of soldiers and their families remains a top institutional priority.
Address to Officers
While addressing officers of the garrison, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s zero-tolerance policy towards any threat to national security. He articulated the institution’s unwavering resolve to confront multifaceted challenges with professional focus and determination.
“The Pakistan Armed Forces remain steadfast in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability,” the COAS remarked. He further urged the officers to continue fostering a culture of excellence, discipline, and selfless service to the nation.
