Lieutenant General Fahad Bin Saud Al-Johani, Commander Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF), held a meeting with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi today.
The high-level meeting focused on several key areas of mutual interest, including regional security dynamics and avenues for enhanced bilateral defence cooperation. Both military leaders reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to further strengthening the longstanding and brotherly relations between the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) expressed his satisfaction with the robust defence collaboration already in place between the two nations. COAS Munir underscored the imperative for continued cooperation across several domains, specifically mentioning:
- Joint Training
- Capacity Building
- Intelligence Sharing
Commander RSLF, Lieutenant General Al-Johani, acknowledged the high level of professionalism demonstrated by the Pakistan Army. He also specifically appreciated the positive and constructive role played by Pakistan in maintaining regional peace and stability.

The visiting dignitary was honored with a Guard of Honour upon his arrival at GHQ, symbolizing the deep respect and close military ties shared by the two countries.
