Operations Against Foreign-Sponsored Networks
Acting on verified intelligence regarding the presence of active militants, security personnel launched the raid on the night of June 3/4, effectively engaging multiple terrorist positions. According to the military’s media affairs wing, the eliminated individuals belonged to Fitna al Hindustan—a designation used by the state to denote Balochistan-based proxy groups allegedly backed by foreign sponsorship to destabilize the country.
Following fierce gun battles, troops cleared the locations and recovered a cache of weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a vehicle used by the cell. The ISPR noted that the neutralized terrorists had been actively involved in numerous hostile activities within the district.
Relentless Counter-Terrorism Campaign
Ground forces are currently executing a thorough sanitization operation to eliminate any remaining threats or facilitators in the Panjgur area. The military reiterated that law enforcement agencies and security forces will sustain the counter-terrorism campaign at full pace to completely purge the region of foreign-supported militancy.
This latest action follows closely on the heels of a massive provincial security sweep earlier this week, during which security forces neutralized 17 terrorists across Mastung, Nushki, Khuzdar, and Kech districts following a suicide bombing targeting a Quetta shuttle train.
