During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing defence cooperation, with a particular focus on joint training initiatives and collaboration within the aviation sector.
Air Chief Marshal Sidhu welcomed the visiting dignitary and briefed him on the Pakistan Air Force’s modernization efforts, including infrastructure development, advanced training programs, and the induction of niche capabilities to maintain operational readiness and technological edge. He underscored the deep-rooted religious and historical ties between Pakistan and Bahrain, reflected in their longstanding military-to-military cooperation.
General Shaikh Mohammed praised the professionalism, operational readiness, and courage of PAF personnel, particularly during the recent conflict with India. He also expressed Bahrain’s strong interest in expanding collaboration through joint training and bilateral exercises.
The meeting highlighted the shared resolve of both nations to broaden defence ties, foster institutional cooperation, and strengthen regional security partnerships.
