The Pakistan–Saudi Arabia joint military exercise Al-Battar II concluded today in Tabuk, marking the end of an intensive counterterrorism training program held from 18 to 26 November 2025, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The exercise brought together elite units from the Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) and Saudi military forces to conduct advanced drills aimed at enhancing interoperability, tactical coordination, and operational readiness. The closing ceremony was attended by the General Officer Commanding the SSG as Pakistan’s Chief Guest, alongside senior Saudi military officials.
During the exercise, participating troops demonstrated high-level professional skills, focusing on urban combat, improvised explosive device (IED) disposal, and coordinated tactical operations to strengthen joint response capabilities.

The ISPR stated that all training objectives were successfully met, highlighting the exercise’s role in further cementing the longstanding defense partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The engagement reaffirmed the two countries’ shared commitment to regional stability, security, and collective preparedness.
